The Flag of South Africa

No other country in the world has more colours (6) in its primary design than South Africa.

Designed and raised in 1994 to celebrate a democracy for the first time in South Africa. The colours are inspired by the Netherlands, the British and the current governing body of South Africa, the African National Congress. The shape and direction of the flag is said to resemble multiple cultures uniting together working toward one goal.
